Monetization Despite Myself

I desperately need an income, but my impostor syndrome whispers to me that I don’t deserve money for anything I do. I’m a hack, a fake, a wannabe.

Of course, everyone is a wannabe until they are the real thing, which takes persistence, dedication, and a willingness to learn. Very few of us come out of the gate as golden prodigies in our chosen field. Getting good at anything takes time and work. That’s unavoidable.

So what am I going to do?

I hereby give myself permission to do things badly for the next 6 months. I will put effort into learning and improving between now and February 1, 2025. At that point, I will reevaluate. And I will jump on every opportunity to rake in a few coins.
