I bought two planners at my local Dollar Tree: a 2024-2025 academic planner and a tiny 2025-26 daily planner with a pretty large “Notes” section in the back. The former should be good for making plans through next summer. It has monthly, weekly, and daily sections. The latter I may use for a microjournal; each day has about 7 lines to write on, which should be enough for me to note anything significant that I did or that happened. This will be very useful in the future because my brain has always been terrible at locating personal events in time.

The academic planner is actually going to be a business planner and scheduler. I’ll have to note my personal appointments in there so that I don’t double book myself. Again. We have a family calendar online that I use because that shares the information with everyone, but for my own use, I prefer to schedule on paper. For one thing, writing things down helps me to remember. Copy & Paste, not so much.
I just signed up for the Amazon affiliate program. Now I just have to get over my reluctance to sell anything to anyone, even if it is something I love that I think they’d love too. This might be good practice, since making money generally involves selling something— a product, a service, or your time.
My plan for today is to take all the disorganized and scattered parts of my entrepreneurial efforts and try to arrange and integrate them into a more sensible plan I can actually explain to people.
We will see how that goes. If nothing else, a more organized and fleshed out plan will help me figure out what steps to take next. I don’t actually need anyone’s approval to take my shot.
