This week was very busy in some respects and not busy enough in others. I could have produced more content of various kinds, but I learned a lot, made some money, and started working toward making more in the future.
I’m officially an Amazon affiliate. That’s cool. Now I can make a little bit of commission if I recommend something, and I will only recommend the things I love. So that’s one step towards the M-word.
I grew up in an environment where talking about money was a no-no. It was considered crass. As a result, talking about monetization plans and strategies makes me feel a tad icky.
I am going to have to get over my squeamishness about money talk. Money is important for stability and security. It’s down at the bottom of Maslow’s hierarchy. Getting that is step 1 in the direction of steps that are more fun. Self-actualization, here I come!
I will be housecleaning in the morning and then writing. Right now, sleep is required. That’s step 0.23.
