My cold was somehow worse on Friday, but I did accomplish some things on my schedule anyway. One thing I have learned from this experiment is that it is hard to stick to any kind of schedule when you’re home with family members who have different ideas and priorities. The sheer chaos of family life can get in the way if you don’t have everybody’s buy-in on your plans.
I am feeling better now. This weekend has involved catching up on housework while still taking it easy until I am over this virus. I have made the mistake of trying to do too much too soon in the past, and it is counterproductive. I am almost well again. I don’t need to work myself back into illness.
I decided to generate the next week of my schedule all at once. I can still iterate and improve it as the week goes on, but I feel like this is a more efficient way to plan. I am putting in some time for gig work this week because I need to get paid.
