Last week and the Rest of September

We went camping over the weekend, and it seems to have taken me a few days to fully recover from a night of sleeping on a lumpy slope.

I stuck loosely to the schedule last week and had a productive week. I will have more about that to say in my retrospective on the month, which will be in the next few days. In the meantime, ChatGPT and I have come up with a pared-down, barebones schedule for the remainder of the month. I think a simpler plan works better for me.

Weekly Template (Sept 15–30)

  • Morning (9–12) → Work Block (business/blog/YouTube/creative writing)
  • Afternoon (1–4) → Project Block (conlang, experiments, deep research)
  • Late Afternoon (4–6) → Flex/Errands/Overflow
  • Evening (7–9) → Study/Skill (languages, coursework, reading, experiments)
  • Daily anchors: meals, dog walks, family time

This Week (Sept 15–21)

  • Mon–Fri: Stick to template.
  • Sat: Light work AM, projects PM, evening family.
  • Sun: Reset day—planning, errands, light creative if energy allows.

Next Week (Sept 22–28)

  • Mon–Fri: Same template.
  • Wed: Midweek review + recalibrate tasks inside blocks.
  • Sat: Project-heavy day
  • Sun: Rest + reflection.

Final Days (Sept 29–30, Mon–Tue)

  • Treat as a mini-sprint:
    • AM: Finish open loops in work.
    • PM: Projects you want closed before October.
    • Evening: Prep October’s schedule and goals.
