Wow. That was one fast month! The good news is that I have made Spanish a much bigger part of my life this month. I have consumed a lot more Spanish media— audio, video, and written. I have gotten used to operating my phone in Spanish. It was a good kickstart for future efforts.
But I always show you the other side, and I am not going to start making exceptions now. I really struggled with motivation all month. Spanish is immediately useful, but that’s not quite enough motivation for me to slog through repairing the holes time has eaten in my skills.
I’m going to keep up the exposure moving forward, but I have a few other languages that are more exciting to me and that might even be useful in future ventures. But that’s a topic I will be tackling at length later this week.
