I now live in the middle of nowhere, so “my city” is not exactly relevant, but I will point out a few places I have enjoyed here in South Dakota:
Souls in Martin, SD: Good food, comfortable seating for a group. I was pleased with the Reuben sandwich I got there.
Susan’s H&H Bar in Martin, SD: I had some good burgers here. It has a bar atmosphere, but not in a bad way.
Coachlight Cafe, in Valentine, NE: Good burgers, a hometown diner vibe.
Koko Kitchen Vietnamese Cuisine, in Rapid City, SD: I loved the pho and honeydew milk tea with boba. Good food, large portions, friendly staff.
Granted, I haven’t been here that long and there are a lot more restaurants I have had recommended to me. It’s a joy to try new places and discover new favorites
