We had a nice weekend in a cabin for the solstice. It was relaxing, even after we got home yesterday and decided to continue to chill. Today, it was back on the grind.
I didn’t accomplish everything I set out to do today, but I did get a few major paperwork tasks out of the way, and I secured a surprise w-2 temp job for February.
Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, and I am not sure what my plan is, other than wrapping presents. I am hoping to have a relatively low key holiday. To be honest, Christmas somehow never registered with me this year, so at least I might not get thrown into the post-holiday blues like I usually do. At this point, I just want to see my kid open his presents and then get back on doing everything I want to get done before my surgery.
